Nature's tears
The story behind the poem
This poem was written
while thinking about going green. For years, our native ancestors
have warned us about the treatment of the environment. Whether it
was big business, or something as simple as disposing of a toxic
chemical safely, we refused to listen. Now, with global warming, and
the melting of the polar ice caps, we have no choice but to sit up,
and pay attention. Although many feel it's too late and that we've
endangered ourselves, our planet, our home, still manages to provide
us with everything we need.
