Summer's day in Alabama
The story behind the poem

I lived most of my life in Nevada...I recently moved to Alabama...The change was so amazing to me...I truly love the desert...It has its share of beauty, but the southern way of life inspired me today to write this poem....I've never written anything before so I hope you like it.
