Just you and me
Just you and me,
together by the glimmering water.
Like liquid silver, moving, curling, rippling,
breathing life in each movement.
Feeding the air, our ears, our souls,
like our very own breathing.
The ebb and flow, the highs and lows,
all the time movement,
enveloping us, surrounding us.
Offering us a gift to see what is there,
beneath us, in front of us,
between us.
Look, it's just there.
