North Berwick
The story behind the poem

I wrote this poem and posted it Poemhunter, webpage.

I visited North Berwick, outside Edinburgh, during a retreat at Nunraw Abbey.

I am a recovering alcoholic and the tranquility I felt in North Berwick gave the inspiration for this composition.

The dedicatee is the Manager of Park View Rehabilitation Service in Liverpool.
