Have you written a poem for the world to read?

Poem and Poet
~ From your works shall you be known ~

Untitled (Golden Age)

Imagine a world to see
Profoundly influenced by poetry.
Rimbaudīs flick of the pen
More familiar then David Beckham.

Construction workers on rhyme and metre
"Revolution as verse" at a Macdonaldīs Eater.
Existentialist Levi Stubb
Discussed in depth down the pub.

Beauty against capitalism!!
A new age asceticism...
Tabloids replaced by lyricism:
"Wordsmith accused of fanaticism".

But! Oh! A burning four wheel drive...
And to the stars we will strive
Nature's Law will once again rule
The richest man with tongue bejewelled.

by Michael Speakman
