Dust
The story behind the poem
I don't agree with the sentiments expressed here.....
after all as the saying goes 'it is better to have loved and lost'
etc.
I am just trying to express a flawed view on life, a view that has a
lot do do with our own self-defenses. If I feel nothing for you then
you can never hurt me. If I have nothing then you cannot take anything
away from me.
Those who have great wealth in life (not talking about money or
possessions here) are deprived of so much when they die.....or are
those things ever taken from us...even by death?
