The story behind the poem
This is a poem for my
boyfriend. We have been together almost a year now and in our last
few arguments I have suggested we break up. When I thought about
this a little more I realized that I have done this in all my
relationships. They have all lasted around the same amount of time.
Trying to explain this to him I stated I didn't know why, maybe it
was just boredom that led me to call it off? He turned to me and
said 'Well, let's go on holiday with each other instead'. This
simple suggestion from him made me laugh and then realize I didn't
want to break up with him at all. I was just bored. We're booking
somewhere for July...
