Lovers
I still love you
You had a piece of me
you were in my mouth
and my head
and I can’t get you out
Your eyes are my windows
to moments in my heart
I know you
and that scares you
it scares me too
and I imagine drinking coffee with you in trendy places while the
sun sets on my skin and you love me openly
without worries
with freedom
and lightness
We breathe
together
and laugh uncontrollably
but I scare you
because I am not nothing.
Not nothing at all.
