Our love is deep
Our love is deep
As deep as the sea
From whence it all once began
To eternity
The plentiful crabs?
The birds up above?
How deep is the sea
As deep as our love
Too high the very sky
With the clouds just below
Realized by sighs
Then a startled white crow
But over the sea
Yes over
And I can pledge to thee
My love
My love
As deep
As deep
As deep as the sea
The grain of the sand
A veins turn in the hand
These are deep but not as our love
God's laugh
The hate between nations perhaps
"Revelations"
Deep
But not as our love
You may regard a flame for an hour
You may express a partial taste for a flavor of potato crisp
Our love is deep
We can peer over the edge
It has depth
But I am not blasé
Oh no there must be respect
The beetle loves its dung ball just
As much
(and does not expect!)...
I love you
Deep and long
Two quantitative measures
I know
To measure the abstract
The nature of syntax
Poetic license
Or an imagination that lacks
Any way
I know too
That's enough about us
Monotonous..
These words dreamt in happy sleep
And also
I know
My love
Our love
is
Deep
