Doves that get lost in the clouds
The story behind the poem
I guess this is a poem about a love that was never
going to be, but always meant to be. I wrote it a couple of years ago
and it has continued to get more and more appropriate to a situation
in my life. The main focus of the poem is to ask would could have been
between us, had things worked out differently. I am trying to say that
hindsight is a very valuable commodity and I know that with hindsight
she will look back upon her choices with regret.
