Little Dylan Woerpel (The Quarterback)
The story behind the poem
I'm not a poet just a
grandmother who always had a dream of leaving a legacy filled with
compassion, and love for children, to my grandchildren: to inspire
them that they can do anything they set their minds to.
My poems are very simple, wholesome and down to earth. Hopefully to
remind us all of a time of innocence we all shared growing up.
My goal is to write a series of "Little Woerpel Books" with the hope
to bring back to families the warm, wholesome, feel-good feelings we
had as a child and to give our children those fun loving memories.
Your feedback is greatly appreciated good or bad. It will serve as a
guideline to me in my future writings. My adult kids think I'm a
little off the wall so don't worry about offending me.
