Stick your chops
We all sat down for Chinese meal,
My colleagues and my boss.
Got agitated straight away,
Such bragging made me cross.
It came to them so easily,
But me, I looked a fool.
My food was spraying everywhere,
I must maintain my cool.
A noodle landed in my wine,
A bean-sprout hit the ceiling.
This challenge that I'm losing fast
I'll conquer before leaving.
Prawn cracker was my new best friend,
So easy, joy to eat.
Those chopsticks got the best of me
Chow Mein engulfed my seat.
Embarrassed, stupid, springs to mind,
Ground swallow me I pray.
I'll stick to solid knife and fork,
Or order take-away...
