Poem and Poet
~ From your works shall you be known ~

I would rather...

You could get golden doves,
But I would rather have a heart full of love.
You could get a diamond for a million pounds and nothing less,
But I would rather have a hand full of happiness.
You could have all the jewelry ever made,
But I would rather have world peace which will never fade.
You could have every toy,
But I would rather have a body full of joy.
So as you see,
There are more important things in the world which are free.
If you look deep in your heart,
You will find every bit of love - that's for a start.
If you try your best,
You will find a hand full of happiness.
