Poem and Poet
~ From your works shall you be known ~

Cheese before bedtime
The story behind the poem

I once read a book about Angels. The author firmly believed in their existence and based the book upon her beliefs claiming that many people had claimed to have seen one.
She wrote that we all have our own Guardian Angels who watch over us, particularly in times of illness or great hardship.
Despite the lack of any presentation of scientifically based factual evidence to support her theories, I still found myself wanting to believe in them too.
In spite of our pragmatic misgivings and suspicions, it seemed such a lovely notion to me that we are never alone in this world.
Are they the stuff of Dreams or something more?....
I cannot say, but I do believe in Angels.
